Makeup:
Makeup is the cosmetic which is used to enhance the appearance of the body. Makeup includes the cosmetics such as eyeliner, eye shadow, lip gloss, lipstick , mascara, foundation, nail polish, face powder and blush.
Foundation:
Foundation is the skin color makeup which helps to cover blemishes and create a uniform complexion. Foundation can be found in liquid and powder.

History	The history of cosmetics spans at least 6000 years and is present in almost every society on earth.	The first commercially available foundation was Max Factor’s Pan-Cake. Originally developed for use in film, actresses were so taken with the results that Max Factor was overwhelmed with demand for the product for their personal use.
Word origin	The word makeup was originated in between 1805-15.	The word foundation was originated from Late Middle English: from Old French fondation, from Latin fundatio(n-), from fundare ‘to lay a base for’.
