Difference between lime and key lime

Lime:
Lime is the fruit belonging to the citrus family which is green in color. Limes are rich in Vitamin C and it is less sour than lemons. It is used to treat the disease named scurvy.
Key lime:
The key lime is the fruit which belongs to the Citrus family which is yellow in color. It is more tart and bitter in flavor. It is smaller and seedier.
