College:
A college is an educational institution, or a part of a university or an institution which offers a vocational education. College offers a degree for a specific area. College can be affiliated to the universities. Colleges can grant certificates or diplomas but not the degrees to the students.
University:
A university is an institution for higher education and research which grants academic degrees in a variety of subjects and provides both undergraduate education and postgraduate education. A university is a collection of colleges.
