Gene:
Genes are the part of the DNA. There are about 25000 to 35000 genes. It is the heredity generally passed from the parent to its child. For example: eye color, risk of diseases etc. The gene and allele are different in each and every human.
Allele:
An allele is the different sequences of DNA. It usually occurs in pairs. Alleles can be either homozygous or heterozygous. It is also known as alleleomorphs.
