Neck:
The neck is that part of the body, on many terrestrial or secondarily aquatic vertebrates, that distinguishes the head from torso or trunk. The neck supports the weight of the head. The neck is flexible and allows the head to turn in all directions.
Throat:
The throat is the interior part of the neck in front of the vertebral column. The throat contains various vessels, various pharyngeal muscles the trachea (windpipe) and the esophagus. Throat (pharynx) is a muscular tube that runs down from a nose to the neck. The parts of throat are: Nasopharynx, Oropharynx and Laryngopharynx.
