An outlet store is a brick and mortar or online retail store in which manufacturers sell their stock directly to the public. Outlets first appeared in the Eastern United States in the 1930’s. Until the 1970’s, the primary purpose of the outlet stores was to dispose of excess or damaged goods.
Store:
A location where retail goods are sold is store. Store is where the final product gathers in 1 place to gather extra-additional stocks for the rest of outlet store.
