Difference between table tennis and ping pong

Table tennis:
It is an indoor game based on tennis, played with small bats and a ball bounced on a table dividing by a net. There are two or four players. The table tennis game is quite fast and it requires quick reactions and response from both of the playing teams. As this game is fast, the player need to learn the tactics to how to increase the score. This game was invented in the late 1880s. The object of this game is to score 11 points before your opponent.
Ping pong:
Ping pong is an indoor sport played on the table with the ball and paddles. It developed as a recreational game but developed into a worldwide sport. It is played on scaled down tennis like court, on the top of the table with a short net crossing the middle. A small wooden paddle with a handle is used to serve the hollow ping pong ball across the net on one bounce. The point is gained when the opponent fails to return the ball on the table and the game is played up to point 11.

History	The sport originated in Victorian England, where it was played among the upper-class as an after-dinner parlour game. It had several different names, including ‘whiff-whaff’, and it has been suggested that makeshift versions of the game were developed by British military officers in India or South Africa, who brought it back with them. Rule of Service	In table tennis, when you are serving the ball, the ball has to be thrown six inches up from an open palm and you have to hit the ball from behind the end of the table, which is the baseline.	You do not have to throw the ball six inches high in Ping Pong during a service. Some even drop the ball on the table to start.
Scoring	Table tennis – players score up to 11 points. During that time, players take two serves at a time.	Ping pong- many players still prefer the older version of 21-up for scoring.
Playing with doubles	Table tennis follows the correct order of serving which (if we take teams as A and B) is A1, B1, A2, B2, A1 and repeat.	Ping pong does not follow such an order and plays as the players wish.
